Regional Sales Manager will generate new business within an assigned territory. This is a territory management role, not people management.

About The Role
We’re looking for Hunters - high-energy, driven professionals with sound business sense and natural sales instincts to join our team. The ideal candidate will have Manufacturing or Industrial sales experience. Inside and outside sales experience.  Food Manufacturing knowledge or experience is strongly preferred.

What It Takes
  • Operate within budgetary guidelines utilizing discretion and professionalism.
  • Cold calling and identify key decision makers while building relationships on a daily disciplined and aggressive sales call schedule.
  • Focus energy on high return/profitable opportunities.
  • Take initiative to work independently with end result in mind.
  • Consultative Selling and actively investigate customer needs through effective questioning & listening skills.
  • Ability to effectively articulate business value to sell flooring system solutions based on customer environment, needs and specifications.
  • Submit daily call logs and maintain a clean constructive database.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to interface with multiple levels of an organization.
What You’ll Need
  • 3+ years outside sales experience penetrating Manufacturing and/or Industrial accounts, or project installation and project management experiance of 5 years.  Knowledge of Food Manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Technical savvy to facilitate installation side of flooring.
  • Ability to see projects through the entire sales cycle.
  • Assess the job and help develop quotes and estimation.
  • Assess projects for problems and solutions and develop the right plan of action to service the customer.
  • Willing to work as a project manager while building a territory and learning the products and processes.
  • Proven track record of success prospecting for NEW business.
  • General computer experience email, excel, database and independent research techniques.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Weekly overnight travel is required. 50% travel can be expected.
